Wilderness Advanced First Aid is a comprehensive medical training course designed for outdoor recreationalists or wilderness trip leaders who venture into moderately remote and challenging environments. The content is significantly more detailed than the Wilderness First Aid course, including emphasis on common critical body system problems and environmental topics.

Prerequisites:

Students must be at least sixteen years old to participate in this course. Those under eighteen years of age will require the written consent of a parent or guardian.

Accommodations:
In the Outward Bound Belgium course house:

This course is residential and bunkroom accommodation in this house is included in the price of the course. Due to the intense schedule of this residential course, it is not practical to consider alternative accommodation.

Food: Al meals are included from lunch on the 3th to lunch on the 6th. (not included: soft drinks and alcoholic beverages) You can expect to assist with some dishwashing during the course.

    Travel Directions: Our course house can easily be reached by car (see route description) or train (station: Lustin). If you plan on taking a plane to Belgium, the easiest way to get to our course house is by flying to Brussels and taking a direct train from Brussels tot Lustin.
