Ben began his career as a big-city EMT in Louisville, KY; but when he moved to eastern Kentucky to attend college, he discovered the Red River Gorge and never looked back!

Ben currently works as a paramedic in the Lexington, KY, area and also works with the Red River Gorge Mountain Rescue Team as a SAR and rope rescue technician. When not working, he gets his outdoor fix by hiking, climbing, and ultralight backpacking.
