Description:
David is a paramedic with Toronto Emergency Medical Services and the owner of Canadian International Expeditions, an expedition, training, consulting, and international risk management company. While living in Scotland, David served for 3 years with the Royal Army Medical Corp as a Combat Medic and also spent 11 years as an Emergency Medical Technician with two mountain Rescue teams. Before coming to Canada, David also taught a prehospital medicine program in the UK. His background is complemented by a Masters in Education degree with a thesis on contexulized learning while his undergraduate degree was in leisure and outdoor education.
