Description:
Evan grew up in Colorado and has never left. His wilderness medicine interest started in college as he worked his way through summers as a rafting guide. As he soul searched for a career that could keep him in the mountains, he landed into healthcare in 2001. He has worked as an EMT-Basic, an Emergency Department Tech, and as a Paramedic. He now works full-time as a Registered Nurse. He currently lives in Buena Vista and couldnt imagine living anywhere else; with his wife and dog alongside him, he paddles all summer and skis all winter. He came to WMA in 2007 and teaches every opportunity he gets.
