Description:
Jamie is an Eagle Scout. He commutes to work in Dallas, Texas, where he is employed as an RN in the Emergency Department at Parkland Hospital. As a Level 1 Trauma Center and the regional burn center they see over 10,000 patients a month. Jamie has been an instructor for WMA™ since 1995. He is also involved in education for Dallas Fire Department, UT Southwestern Medical School and the NDLS (National Disaster Life Support) program. He loves outdoor activities, especially ones that involve cool gear that can be strapped to the top of his truck. He has a BS in Nursing and a BA in psychology. In 1990 he founded a wilderness-based Licensed Residential Treatment Center for adolescents with emotional and psychiatric issues. His future plans involve learning to skydive, hiking the Zion Narrows, and buying another blue water sailboat.
