Description:
Paul began working for Wilderness Medical Associates in 1981. He is one of the original instructors, and served as Executive Director for 5 years in the early 90’s. He is a paramedic and has worked for ground, rotor and fixed-wing EMS programs. He is the past chair of Maine EMS Education Committee. Paul has over 17 years of experience with Outward Bound, is a member of Mahoosuc Mountain Search and Rescue, Franklin County Search and Rescue, and for the past five seasons has worked as a volunteer climbing ranger for the National Park Service on Denali. In addition to working for WMA and guiding, he currently coordinates Quality Improvement for Tri-County EMS, Maine. Paul is an avid climber, and seasonal climbing guide in New England and Bolivia. Paul lives in Greenwood, Maine and New Haven, Connecticut.
