Description:
Rebecca is an emergency physician at the Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department which is also the trauma centre for Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and parts of Nunavut. Rebecca also works as a flight physician, providing patient care in remote and rural areas of Manitoba for the provincial air ambulance service. She is the medical advisor for the paramedicine program at Red River College and is faculty with the University of Manitoba medical school's emergency medicine program. A former wilderness canoe guide, Rebecca is also the founder of the Manitoba Wilderness Medicine Association which is dedicated health and safety of all Manitobians working or recreating in outdoor wilderness areas.
