Description:
Tara has been an EMT-B & WEMT since 2004. She responds to 911 calls and is a student (again!) in the area surrounding Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After over 10 years of working as a expedition trip leader, environmental educator and forester, Tara has returned to school to pursue her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. Tara spent five years working for Outward Bound in Northern Minnesota, Baltimore, and Philadelphia with at-risk kids. She still finds time to work with Outward Bound in the summers as a course director and staff trainer. In the winter, Tara volunteers at a local ski resort with the ski patrol. She has been trained as a rock climbing guide and paddling instructor. When not working or studying, Tara enjoys fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and hiking with her hound dog Jaxon.
