Description:
Jamie is an Eagle Scout. He commutes to work in Dallas, Texas, where he is employed as an RN in the Emergency Department at Parkland Hospital. As a Level 1 Trauma Center and the regional burn center they see over 10,000 patients a month.Jamie has been an instructor for WMA™ since 1995. He is also involved in education for Dallas Fire Department, UT Southwestern Medical School & the NDLS (National Disaster Life Support) program. He loves outdoor activities, especially ones that involve cool gear that can be strapped to the top of his truck. He has a BS in Nursing & a BA in PSY. 1990 to 1996 he founded & operated a wilderness based Licensed Residential Treatment Center for adolescents with emotional & psychiatric issues. His future plans involve 3 months in Phoenix this winter learning to skydive, hiking the Zion Narrows next spring & buying another blue water sailboat.
