The 2-day Hybrid WFR Recertification course is designed for motivated professionals who seek/require top-notched training, but have limited time they can be away from work or home. This is a full 24+ hour recert class made up of online course work (minimum 12 hours*) and face-to-face on-site training and practice (~ 16 hours) with our well-qualified instructional staff.
This course is open to those that hold a current WFR or WEMS certification.
Students must register at least 2 weeks before the course date. All students must complete all online course work one week prior to the start of the on-site training.
* Some students may spend up to 30+ hours on online course work if they are in need of a lot of review.
Prior to enrolling in a course, please review our Functional Position Description. The criteria set forth in this document allows students to self-assess their ability to meet the demands of both a WMAI course as well as the demands of a certified wilderness medical provider in the field.
