Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures. The course is taught by professional instructors with significant patient care and backcountry experience.

Pick-up & Drop-off:
You can get picked-up and dropped-off at the Ottawa airport, train, or bus station or anywhere downtown for 19 CAD each way.
Pick-ups are before 6pm the day before your course. Drop-offs are the evening that your course ends.
Room and Board:
- Option A – Commute from Ottawa/Gatineau (30 minutes)
- Option B – Book a private room at a hotel or B&B in the village of Wakefield.
Bring your lunch and plenty of snacks to the course every day. There are grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, and bakeries in Wakefield.
