5-Day Wilderness First Responder

Course Description

This course requires pre-course work.

Group Departs from Rockland: Monday, April 21st at 2:45 pm.
Group Departs from Hurricane: Saturday, April 26th at 4:00 pm.
The Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course provides essential training in wilderness medicine, leadership, and critical thinking for professionals, leaders, and outdoor adventurers in outdoor, low-resource, and remote environments.

This cost includes transportation between Rockland and Hurricane Island, all food and housing, all programming, and all facilities use.

$1200/adult for the class. This cost includes transportation between Rockland and Hurricane Island, all food and housing, all programming, and all facilities use. Please plan to arrive at the Rockland Ferry Terminal by 2:15 pm to allow enough time to check in with us to get your (provided) ferry tickets and be prepared to board the ferry on time. You will need to find and, if necessary, pay for vehicle parking. More information can be found on the Hurricane Island website.
