8-Day Wilderness First Responder
Course Description
Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the definitive course in medical training for outdoor educators, guides, SAR team members, and others who work or play in remote areas. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical, including all of the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments.

Room and Board
Lodging in rustic cabins with either propane or wood burning stoves with separate modern wash houses. Please bring your own linens or sleeping bag/toiletries. We will try to house only 1 person in each cabin, but may need to put 2. We can accommodate vegetarian, gluten free, and other allergies, but not vegan. Dietary restrictions need to be know before class begins.
