There aren't many people who have a background like Gord with over 20 years the outdoor industry, 10 years as a firefighter and a stroke survivor. Gord worked as a Camp Counsellor and an International Canoe Guide before landing a spot in a raft, something that he now instructs future guides to do. Rafting led him to become involved with Search and Rescue & then was asked to become a Firefighter at his local volunteer hall. Only adding to his repertoire, Gord became a Paramedic, Ski Patroller, Swiftwater Rescue Instructor and began working on his Regional Emergency Management team as the Emergency Social Services Director. These days, if not playing outside he can be found working in the film industry and, as always teaching!
