Instructor Bios

Description:

Jon has worked in the outdoor recreation industry in Ontario and Alberta as a guide and outdoor facilitator for over 10 years, working at several outdoor centers and programs.  He has experience working in several remote locations in Ontario and in northern Alberta as a canoe guide, a tree planter and crew boss, a seismic labourer, and an industrial EMR for an oil and gas company.   Jon has taken all of the WMA core courses up to the WEMT.  It was through these courses that helped him to discover his love of emergency medicine and so he moved to Alberta to become an EMT.  After working full time for two years as an EMT Jon moved back to Ontario and is now a Primary Care Paramedic.
