Originally from Alberta, Lauren currently works in the Yukon as an outdoor education teacher, whitewater canoe guide and dog sledding guide. Her passion for teaching in the outdoors began while working with The Boundless School in Palmer Rapids, ON and has subsequently taken her around Canada and the United States with the National Outdoor Leadership School. In her spare time, Lauren can be found on the river fishing or paddling or devouring books about either subject.
