Instructor Bios

Description:

Mike has been a ski patroller in Lake Tahoe for the past 12 years. He is a former member of two Nordic Search and Rescue teams and currently is an Instructor Assistant for the Sierra College EMT class, teaches Outdoor Emergency Care to ski patrollers, and is an AHA CPR instructor.

His love of the outdoors and the environment has led him to work with not-for-profit organizations that use the outdoors as a platform for raising awareness, money, and promotion of the positive effects nature has on our wellbeing.  This led him to start an outdoor company to educate and inspire people to get outdoors.

On any given day you will find him with his wife and dog hiking, climbing, and backcountry skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
