Wendy spent several years as a clinician in Ontario, helping to establish Orthopedic Clinics in Ontario and as far away as Australia. With 15 years experience as an outdoor educator and photographer, backcountry and ocean travel are what keep her busy these days. A sea kayak guide, sail boat crew member and naturalist in the Pacific Northwest, Belize and Alaska, her passion for Wilderness Medicine has led her to WMA. When not working or guiding, you can usually find Wendy long distance kayaking or exploring backcountry trails on Vancouver Island where she now lives.
