Course Description


The best and most comprehensive course of its kind to offer relevant and realistic first-aid training for seasonal outdoor activities or short term wilderness endeavors and pursuits.

Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures. The course is taught by professional instructors with significant patient care and backcountry experience.


Parry Sound is located:
240 km. north of Toronto on Highway 400
160 km. south of Sudbury on Highway400 (formerly Highway 69)
150 km. south-west of North Bay

The Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre is located on Nine Mile Lake Road off of Highway 124, 7 km. east of Parry Sound 

Room and Board:


Free on-site camping available at the Georgian Nordic Outdoor Activity Centre. There is a building onsite with wood stove, kitchen, fridge, and bathrooms (no showers) available for student use. 




Participants will need to pack a lunch, as there are no easily available food options close to the site.
