The best and most comprehensive course of its kind to offer relevant and realistic first-aid training for seasonal outdoor activities or short term wilderness endeavors and pursuits.
Wilderness First Aid is a two-day introduction to general medical concepts and basic life support skills. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures. The course is taught by professional instructors with significant patient care and backcountry experience.
Room and Board:
With lodging package: Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served buffet style in the dining hall overlooking Sagamore Lake. Participants will be housed in the historic lodges once owned by the Vanderbilt family. Lodging is offered 5/31-6/2.
Taught at Great Camp Sagamore, a historic lodge in the Adirondack mountains.
Payment and Fee Policies:
The registration deadline is 4pm on May 31 2019. The number of registrants is limited by the amount of overnight accommodations available.
