The Wilderness First Responder program is the ideal medical training for leaders in remote areas including outdoor educators, guides, military, professional search and rescue teams, researchers, and those involved in disaster relief. The curriculum is comprehensive and practical. It includes the essential principles and skills required to assess and manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments for days and weeks if necessary.
Room and Board:
Housing, parking, and access to the fitness center are included in the course cost. Provided housing will be in an on-campus residence hall equipped with a communal kitchen. Meals are not included, but on-campus dining options, a grocery store, and downtown are within walking distance.

Payment and Fee Policies:
The course will meet at 8am each day from May 14-May 22, with no class on Sunday. Provided housing begins on May 13th and ends on the 23rd.
A $300 deposit is required to secure your place in the course with final payment due by May 1st. The deposit is fully refundable if you drop out before April 3rd. If you drop from the course between April 3rd and April 17th, you will receive a 50% refund on your deposit ($150). If you drop out of the course after April 17th, the deposit is non-refundable.
If you drop out of the course after May 1st, there will be no refund on either the deposit or the full balance.
