Amit Arora has been working in the field of outdoor education for over 15 years. His interest in medicine was sparked in 2016 and he dove into his newfound passion, Wilderness Medicine and education. He completed his WEMT in the year 2017 and has been on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, USA, since then. Owing to his experience having lived and worked in the Himalayas, America and South East Asia, he brings his passion of teaching outdoor leadership and wilderness medicine to every project he commits to. Amit holds a postgraduate degree in marketing management and is part of a handful of EMT’s in this field in the country.

He has worked as an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School, Outward Bound and other outdoor education programs over the course of his career. He is at present developing self sustained expedition models for leading groups in the wilderness. He has a keen interest in writing papers and articles on varied topics in the field of Wilderness Medicine.
