Ashley Strange began her career in the outdoor industry in 2010 spending a decade working as a teacher and risk manager for The Boundless School. Currently, she balances her passion for education with her love for spending time connecting with people and the land. In her day job, she guides students through the maze of adolescence working as a high school counsellor. She spends her summers working in the Ottawa River watershed as one of the co-founders of Braiding Rivers, as well as working as a contract river guide and teaching WMA courses. Based in the vibrant city of Tio’tia’ke (Montreal), Ashley thrives at the intersection of education, adventure, and community.
