Diane is an Occupational Therapist, a Registered Maine Recreation & Sea Kayak Guide, and a certified Ski Instructor and Coach. She has been involved in adaptive recreation, especially skiing, for over 17 years. After working as a program coordinator for Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation for many years, she found her hidden talent as a sighted guide for a completely blind ski racer, the only totally blind ski racer in the US at the time. In this role, Diane competed all over the world including the 2014 Paralympic Games in Sochi Russia. She now practices home health OT while coaching young ski racers in the winter and teaching kayaking in the summer. She lives in the mountains of Western Maine.
