Eric Duffy is a Registered Nurse, Wilderness and State of Maine EMT, and a Registered Maine Guide. While living in a small lobstering village in midcoast Maine for the past 25 years, Eric has logged more than a decade working seasonally as a professional sea kayaking guide. He has also held leadership positions with some of Maine’s most highly regarded outdoor programs and independent schools. He now balances his time between working as a clinical nurse in an emergency clinic, teaching regularly for WMA, and guiding. He and his family regularly enjoy ocean paddling, free-heel skiing, whitewater canoeing, and the sailing of some vintage dinghies that he restored during the COVID lockdown.
