Terry has spent his entire life chasing adventures outdoors, eventually settling in Canada’s north. He currently resides in Whitehorse, Yukon, where he works as a high school outdoor education teacher. Throughout the year, he takes his students on various trips, including outdoor survival, whitewater canoeing and packrafting, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and bison hunting. Before becoming a full-time teacher, he worked as a raft guide in Jasper, Alberta, and on the Nahanni and Alsek Rivers in Northern Canada. Terry earned his Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Tourism degree with a combined degree in Experiential Education from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He is passionate about teaching wilderness medicine and whitewater rescue. When he is not working, you will find him on Yukon adventures with his family and friends.
