Michael Margolies

After graduating from Whitman College in 2020, Michael moved to Portland, Maine, where he currently resides. Growing up in Carlisle, Massachusetts, he developed an appreciation for the outdoors via frequent trips to Estabrook Woods and nearby green spaces. During undergrad, he had the opportunity to join many outdoor climbing and backpacking trips from Smith Rock all the way down to Death Valley. He currently spends his time playing drums in local band Red Eft, cooking with friends, exploring the Maine Coast, and going to concerts across New England.

Michael’s previous work experience has included several years of client support experience for organic farms, bakeries, and most recently at SCORE Maine, a company that offers low-cost business education workshops and support for Maine businesses.
