A Course & Accommodations Package is available for up to 20 participants, which includes instruction, course materials, parking, lodging for Friday and Saturday nights, and meals starting with dinner Friday evening through lunch on Sunday. To get the most out of the workshop, participants are encouraged to stay right at ADK’s facilities. Space is reserved for participants in the lodging yurts. Package participants should bring their own sleeping bag/warm linens, a pillow, and towels. While the yurts are heated (55 degrees Fahrenheit), the wash house and restrooms are a two-minute walk from the Yurt Village so cold-weather clothing and a headlamp are required. If you are participating in the Lodging Package, you may arrive on Friday anytime between 2pm and 6pm to claim your bunk and to get settled. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:15pm in the Adirondak Loj Dining Room. Breakfast will be served at 7:00am each morning in the Loj as well, but be sure that you return to the Yurt Village by 8:00am for instruction.
For those selecting the course-only option, there are plenty of hotels, motels, restaurants, and grocery stores in Lake Placid, NY to achieve other food & accommodation needs.
