I’ve been in healthcare as a West Virginia state and National EMT-B for 10 years. I worked on an ALS truck with a medic for most of those. I am involved with ski patrol and I am a teacher of OEC, which is the equivalent to EMT for patrol. I am a trainer at ACE whitewater of river guides, (New and Gauley rivers) including keeping them all up to date on wilderness first aid training. I have been teaching lay responder and professional rescuer (Red Cross) CPR for 3 years. I am from Marion Ohio, but have been living in the New River Gorge (WV) area for 20 years. Random thing about me is I am in love with the Grand Canyon and have logged 7 private 21 day river trips.
