Full Course DescriptionJoin us at this amazing camp in the beautiful western Adirondacks of NY state. We will get hands-on and work through a TON of medical information. Adriondack Woodcraft Camps is located in the Adirondacks in Old Forge, NY. Woodcraft spans 250 beautiful acres of fields, forest, lakes and borders the Moose River and is a perfect setting in which to learn and practice your wilderness medical skills.

Recommended for outdoor professionals and recreationalists who lead adventure trips, and those who are in the backcountry for days or weeks with the possibility of having to care for a patient over an extended time.
Full Course DescriptionThis is an intensive two-day workshop that will teach students how to deal with medical emergencies when they are miles from help and dialing 911 is not an option. The curriculum is comprehensive, yet practical. It includes the essential principles and skills required to manage medical problems in isolated and extreme environments.

Full Course DescriptionROCK your WFA – rock climbing & Wilderness First Aid
The “Rock your WFA” is a 4 day rock climbing experience accompanied with the Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course certification (upon successful passing/completion of the course).
Participants will meet each morning at Yamunska Mountain Adventures in Canmore AB and partake in a full day of guided rock climbing with experienced instructors. No rock climbing experience? No problem! All gear is included in the price, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have some.
Participants will spend each evening in the classroom undertaking the WFA course. The course will run each day from around 15:00 to 19:00 (exact times to be communicated to participants).
Rock climbing instruction is provided by Yamnuska Mountain Adventures and WFA course instruction and materials are provided by Mountain Med Consulting.
