Ideal environment for learning wilderness medical skills – forests, rock wall, streams, quarry, seashore, sailboat – all on site.   Course will be led by Jon Tierney, IFMGA/AMGA Mountain Guide, Flight and Wilderness Paramedic, FAWM and RN along with other members of the Acadia Mountain Guides team of highly skilled and experienced wilderness medicine instructors. Course is offered in beautiful Boulder, CO. World-class climbing, hiking, skiing and so much more are available just outside the classroom.

Join us at Hoofbeat Ridge, a beautiful family-owned equestrian camp 30 min. west of Madison, WI. Tuition includes three hot, home-cooked meals daily and on-site bunkhouse lodging steps away from the classroom. Classroom includes fireplace, central heat & AC, and quick access to outdoor spaces

Tuition includes a cabin bunk or tent site plus meals from lunch on day 1 thru lunch on day 2.

Idyllwild: a classic mountain town with world-class climbing and bouldering…phenomenal mountain biking…stellar hiking…with lots of foodie options (and its own brewpub)- all within walking distance of your course. And: Joshua Tree National Park is only 75 minutes away! Small class sizes (usually max of 12) to enhance healthy and quality training, with flexible, reasonable lodging or camping options. Skamokawa is 90 minutes from Portland and about three hours from Seattle. Classroom is in the local Grange Hall with rainforest and river right outside the door.
